What is Clinical Research?
Clinical research is a type of medical research that studies people to better understand health and disease.
It helps researchers:
-
Discover new treatments or medications
-
Learn how existing treatments work in different people
-
Improve prevention, diagnosis, and care
All studies follow strict safety and ethical guidelines and are often overseen by the FDA and Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
Our Research
We collaborate with several pharmaceutical companies to bring the latest migraine clinical trials to the Cincinnati area, with a focus on both pediatric and adult populations. Participation in our research studies is open to the public and does not require being a subscribed member of our practice. Our research encompasses both preventive and abortive therapies for
migraine management.

All study-related costs are fully covered by the sponsoring pharmaceutical companies, ensuring there is no out-of-pocket expense for participants.

At present, all of our clinical trials involve medications that have already received FDA approval—either approved for migraine treatment in adults and now being evaluated in pediatric populations, or approved for other indications and currently being studied for use in adults with migraine.
